Reduce Stress With These Daily Habits

In the morning: meditate
Start the day off by meditating, which will clear your mind and mentally prepare you for what's ahead. Not only will this reduce your stress level, a morning meditation can boost energy levels and help you think more positively.

In the morning: set an intention
Set your intention then keep it fresh in your mind. Doing this allows you to remember your deeper aspirations so you can keep yourself on track to achieve your goals.

In the afternoon: check in
Find a time to check in with yourself. Take a step back and remember your strengths and what you need to do to accomplish the day's intention.

In the afternoon: take a break
If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or unproductive, go for a walk and get some fresh air. Breaks improve your mental health and stress levels, and when you return to your desk you'll be refreshed and energized.

At night: get sleep
In order to get the 7-9 hours recommended for adults, choose a bedtime and stick with it. This will motivate you to finish your nightly tasks and form a routine.

At night: turn off electronics
Turn off electronics 30 minutes before your designated bedtime, then recap the day and write down all the thoughts running through your mind. The idea here is to simply review the day and see if your intentions were in sync. By doing thing, you're metaphorically releasing the day and remembering that tomorrow, you'll try again.
